Primavera

It's spring in Cochabamba. Meaning deadly hot weather and sporadic gray rainclouds.

And stunning colors everywhere. I've never gushed about flowers before, but the purples, reds, oranges and magentas you find everywhere here are amazing. This is my street.

Today, I celebrate the long-awaited installation of high-speed internet in our office. I'll be better in touch.

We just got your website and have enjoyed reading your adventure. Talked to your Mom the other day about skype and she now has it. We use it to talk to Holly's relatives in Sweden.

Sound like you are having a good time, despite the difficulties you must encounter. But enjoy it!!

Our emial is bstacho@verizon.net if you decide you want to send something out.

Stay cool!!!!!!!!

Hey Kristin, I sent you a card last month, did you ever receive it? I hope it got there okay! I used the address you gave me a while back (c/o Mauricio Ramirez Parra).

I hope things are going great! No more scorpions!!

best,
L

I got your masterpiece (artistic and linguistic) right before traveling, and it's now prominently displayed on my desk in the office -- everyone loves it, especially since I'm now the scorpion girl...
